While the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) strives to preserve our small town charm, we are also dedicated to encouraging economic growth and development.

Two thousand people call Stockton home and Cedar County itself boasts a population of almost 14,000.

Stockton is the county seat of Cedar County making it a hub of county business and activity.

The SACC is active in promoting the Stockton area by sponsoring community events such as the annual Black Walnut Festival, Car Show, Bluegrass Festival and Chili Cook-Off, Community Spotlight radio program and numerous other activities.

Stockton's 25,000 acre lake offers three hundred miles of unspoiled shore line with clean clear water.

A variety of camping opportunities, hotels, motels and cabins make Stockton the perfect lake get away!

In addition to swimming, recreational and tournament fishing, scuba diving, and kayaking, Stockton Lake was rated as one of the top ten sailing lakes in the country by SAIL Magazine.

We are conveniently located 2 hours south of Kansas City, 1 hour north of Springfield and less than two hours north of Joplin, Mo. In addition to easy access from major highways we offer a community airport and dedicated water landing strip.
